CUSTOM CRM & DEALER MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR MAJOR AUTOMOTIVE BRANDS

The Ateco Automotive Group is Australia’s largest independent automotive distributor. During our tenure over the past thirteen years Ateco have distributed Kia, Alfa Romeo, Citroen, Fiat Cars, Fiat Commercial Vehicles, Ferrari and now Maserati, Lotus, SsangYong, Chery, Great Wall, Foton Trucks, Foton Passenger & Light Commercial Vehicles, and LDV vans.

Challenge

Having built the initial websites for Alfa Romeo, Citroen, Kia and then Fiat, it became apparent that there was a clear need to develop a range of extranets and web-based management tools to communicate with, and help manage the dealer network for each brand.

Due to the nature of the requirements these extranets and management tools all required custom development.

Additionally there was the need to create a reliable marketing database that would also have some CRM functionality. This became increasingly important as new brands came on board.

Response

Dealer Extranets

We designed and developed secure extranet websites for each of the brands so dealers could access images, templates, marketing collateral, technical information and service bulletins. All this information could be managed in-house by Ateco.

Owners’ Websites

We designed and developed a range of secure owners’ websites for various brands carried by Ateco.

Leads Management

A leads management system was developed to manage the distribution of test drive requests, brochure requests and enquiries from the websites of individual brands.

Marketing (CRM) Database

An online database was developed to hold customer, prospect, and vehicle details for each automotive brand. This information is housed within a single CRM database for all Ateco brands.

Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) Surveys

A Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) survey management tool was developed so that surveys could be sent to new owners approximately 6 weeks after purchase and to customers who had recently had their first (12 month) service.

Management and Reporting Tools

A suite of management and reporting tools was developed. These could be accessed through a single, secure online portal.

The tools include:

  • Sales Reporting - Allows dealers to submit weekly sales reports online.
  • Service Reporting - Allows dealers to submit monthly service reports online.
  • Technical Reporting - Allows dealers to submit technical and product reports.
  • Forward Ordering - Allows dealers to submit forward orders for selected brands.
  • User Management - Allows Ateco and em to manage dealership details and users. This system manages user access to all the online tools above as well as the extranet websites.

Loan Car Program

This system was developed to allow dealers to apply for loan cars directly to Ateco via an online platform. The system allowed the entire process of application, approval and vehicle return to be managed online.
